Sutro is A "drop-in" automatic water chemistry monitor that uses sensors to measure pH, chlorine levels, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), temperature (ambient air and water), and Oxidation Reduction Potential (ORP).

There are 14 million residential swimming pools and spas in the US and the chemical market alone is $13.3 billion. From our customer research, 80% interviewed said the main problem pool and spa owners face is managing water chemistry: it’s time-consuming, not intuitive, expensive, and needs to be done on a regular schedule. Currently, most owners test their water using liquid testing kits (with reagents; read by color charts) and litmus paper strip testing, or drive to the pool store with water samples to have it read at the store.
